In my first week of school, I encountered new subjects. There are 2 subjects that caught my attention, Science and Chemistry. During my past years in school, I had struggle dealing with Science subject and I hate it, but when I started being a 9th grader in PagSci, I have encountered the Chemistry and I was like, "this is tough!" and when I began studying I then liked it!
In the first place, when I hear the word Chemistry, I can tell to myself that it is part of science and it is the central science. I always wonder why, why it is the central science? Then, when our teacher discussed it, I suddenly said "now I know", because it plays a role in almost all profession; and it overlaps with other sciences. I also learned that Chemistry is a study of the composition of matter, it's changes, and the changes it undergoes.
My teacher taught us several things about chemistry and what really interest me most about are the scientists who contributed something in the Chemistry world, like Robert Boyle, an English Chemist and published his masterpiece of scientific literature, The Sceptical Chymist.
Just like what I have mentioned, I dislike Science before but now, I suddenly liked it. Everytime there's an activity provided by our teacher about the respiratory system, I suddenly share to my group mates that we've done this before when we were in 5th grade. They smiled and feel so relaxed, while doing our activity. However, while doing our activity, was a bit disappointed since there was a little failure in our output. But everything has been taken care of. We had fun doing it! So this is my journal about my first week at school. Learning should be fun.
